We’ve created an outdoors monster

We wanted Abi to growing up loving the outdoors and being active, but I think we created an outdoors monster. She insisted on walking to daycare today – – about 1 mile from our house. It was a nice walk.

Abi’s lead test

Abi had her second year lead test.  Her levels: less than 2.  Levels below 10 are considered “below the level of concern”.  The doctor wrote “excellent”.  She had a similar result last year.

And for those who want to know when we will start toilet training her, the answer is “when she goes to the next toddler classroom where they have potties”.  In her current classroom, they only do diapers.  She should be transferred within the next few months.

Daddy is a great groomer

Abi doesn’t like to have her hair washed, or her teeth brushed.  Recently, Daddy has been giving her her baths, and she is much happier.  Daddy was even able to brush Abi’s teeth today (Abi threw a tantrum when Mommy tried to brush her teeth yesterday).  Abi had fresh-smelling breath.  Daddy is the best-est Abi-groomer.

What does Abi say when she wants more booby?

“Mo boo please”.  She’s a very polite 2 year-old.

Abi walked from Dunkin Donuts on Broadway to Isis, and had a lot of fun walking down the big girl steps all by herself.

Poor Daddy

Poor, poor Daddy . . .only gets to watch Futurama.  Abi refuses to let him watch anything else, not even Family Guy.  She just wants to watch Futurama.  And Daddy has to pay attention while they’re watching.  Otherwise, she’ll elbow him, or even bite him.  How dare he not pay attention to their show . . . even though he’s seen the episode 20 times already?  Guess what Abi & Daddy are watching this week?
