Abi wants to be helpful
This morning, she handed me her poopy diaper.
This morning, she handed me her poopy diaper.
She cleans her doll with wipes after her doll poops. Â She also brings blueberries to the doll’s mouth, and tells her “very good” when the doll eats.
I got a glass of milk for myself, and a sippy cup of milk for Abi. Â Guess who was relegated to the sippy cup?
She pouts in lieu of temper tantrums.
And – – she jogs to school with me. Â “Run, Mommy run”.
Abi had a fun time visiting Riva & her grandparents in Florida. Â She really enjoyed the pool. Â Abi feels very comfortable with Riva too. Â Some pictures from Florida:
Abi loves buckling. Â She’ll climb into her stroller and buckle herself in. Â She’ll climb into her carseat and buckler herself in. Â She’ll even buckle her high chair. Â Just don’t do it for her – – Â she’s buckling all by herself.
And yes, that’s her new doll. Â She sleeps with it too.
Abi knows how to use Mommy’s iPad. Â She wakes up, grabs the iPad, climbs up onto the couch, and turns on her favorite cartoon.
She also loves the Apple store. Â In fact, last time we were there, she refused to leave.
Daddy has had several trips recently. Â The first time he was gone, Abi was unhappy. Â She wanted her Daddy to put her to sleep. Â The second time, she understood that he would be back. Â Here, she reads patiently, waiting for Daddy to come home to give her her goodnight kiss.
Abi, Mommy & Daddy had lots of fun hanging out at Arlington Center. Â She loves walking up and down stairs, and on top of big flower planters. Â Abi especially loves getting yogurt from Starbucks.
She also loves teaching Daddy how to jump:
Abi had six months of early intervention because she was a slow talker. Â She just had her reassessment and she no longer qualifies. Â Apparently, it’s very rare for a kid to qualify out after just six months. Â She is getting very good at talking.
Abi, Mommy & Daddy went to a Greek festival last weekend. Â Abi had a lot of fun jumping on bouncey houses, and going down a really tall slide with Mommy.
Poor Grandma and Grandpa were so looking forward to seeing Abi this weekend but then Grandma got sick. Ugh! Video chatting is great, but not the same thing. She’s growing so quickly – seems to be going from a toddler to a little girl in a flash. We love you!
Abi & Mommy played hooky today, and went to Horn Pond. Â Abi had fun playing with dirt.
