Daddy looks very tired. Abi looks very busy.
Yes, Daddy took care of Abi all weekend even though he was sick. Mommy is now feeling better (though still sick), so Daddy will hopefully get some downtime when he comes home from work today. Daddy is unfortunately not very good at taking downtime, so please feel free to encourage him to do so once in a while so that he does not work himself to sheer exhaustion. Poor Daddy has had the same cold for over two weeks, but did not take any downtime to get better. (And his job is just 40 hours per week, so that is not to blame.)
Babies do that – they take priority over other things for a while – but the rewards are great. Can’t wait to see my girl in person. I’m counting the days.
