Down the rabbit hole & back

Abi’s pediatrician did not believe Daddy that Abi is teething.  However, she has been scratching at her left gums.  Today, she has been pulling her left year and massaging her left cheek.  Mommy is quite sure that Abi is teething.

Last week, Abi started waking up every few hours.  Mommy was very, very tired.  However, Mommy figured out that Abi was waking up so frequently because she was not eating much during the day (because of her gum pain) and was thus really hungry at night.  Mommy thus started feeding Abi once she falls asleep for her daytime naps.  It has been working.  Last night, Abi only woke up once.

Uncle Richie came to visit last week.  Mommy asked Uncle Richie if he wanted to have kids more now that he was around Abi.  He said “no”.  Auntie Riva had the same response to the same question.  Mommy thinks it’s because Auntie Riva & Uncle Richie realize how much work babies are.  Abi is not doing a good job of convincing her aunt & uncle to make cousins for her.

Mommy & Abi went to a social sponsored by the Women’s Bar Association.  They had a great time.  Everyone was respectful of Abi’s personal space except for one lawyer who kept touching Abi.  Mommy got annoyed.

Mommy used Daddy’s ergo carrier for the first time – Abi liked it a lot, and even fell asleep in it.  Mommy ate while Abi was in the carrier, and Abi came home covered in seasame seeds.
