Fun at Horn Pond
Abi & Mommy played hooky today, and went to Horn Pond. Â Abi had fun playing with dirt.

We wanted Abi to growing up loving the outdoors and being active, but I think we created an outdoors monster. She insisted on walking to daycare today – – about 1 mile from our house. It was a nice walk.
Abi had her second year lead test. Â Her levels: less than 2. Â Levels below 10 are considered “below the level of concern”. Â The doctor wrote “excellent”. Â She had a similar result last year.
And for those who want to know when we will start toilet training her, the answer is “when she goes to the next toddler classroom where they have potties”. Â In her current classroom, they only do diapers. Â She should be transferred within the next few months.
Abi doesn’t like to have her hair washed, or her teeth brushed. Â Recently, Daddy has been giving her her baths, and she is much happier. Â Daddy was even able to brush Abi’s teeth today (Abi threw a tantrum when Mommy tried to brush her teeth yesterday). Â Abi had fresh-smelling breath. Â Daddy is the best-est Abi-groomer.
“Mo boo please”. Â She’s a very polite 2 year-old.
Abi’s spontaneously uttered in appropriate context new words of the day:
yesterday: keys
today: throw
Stay tuned for pictures of Abi diapering her doll.
