The three of us went to the Children’s Museum. Abi then came home and had a very epic poopy. Â We then went for our yearly Chinese food buffet, where she had about 25 adult-sized wedges of honey dew and cantalope. Â Gregg, this post is for you.

Abi will start daycare on January 3rd. Â We’ve been bringing Abi there ahead of time since she can be shy around strangers, and can take a while to warm up. Â We’ve been there three times this week, for about 45 minutes, and will bring her twice next week.

Abi will get early intervention for expressive speech. Â It’s not a big deal since she’s just following her parents’ footsteps. Â Early intervention will start next Wednesday. Â Today, Mommy & Abi were working on some words. Â Abi was really making an effort. Â She almost said “doll”. Â Came really close.

teeeth. Â Bottom incisors. Â Go Abi! Â We’re not sure if they have come in on top. Â There is a hole on top, but we’re not sure if it’s big enough for teeth. Â I suspect that she does not yet have her top incisors.

Abi was very vocal tonight. Â We had a lot of fun browsing at LL Bean (she wants sunglasses, but is not willing to wear them), eating at NYAJ, and then playing in the bookstore. Â Abi especially enjoyed going up & down the escalator with Mommy.

Mommy came home to find that Daddy & Abi had had an eventful day:
- Abi put on a boot by herself.
- She can now take off her diaper by herself. Â (She did this with Mommy.)
- She can also climb onto the couch directly from the floor.
- She can get a spoon from the silverware drawer when Daddy asks for a spoon, and she can do the same when asked for a fork.
- Abi dragged Daddy to the potty, indicated that he should take her diaper off, nodded her head to his question whether she wanted to use the potty, and used it for its intended purpose.
