Science Museum

Grandma put Abi and her family a year-long Museum of Science membership.  Abi has already been to the museum twice, once with Mommy & Daddy, and once with Mommy, Abi’s friend and the friend’s Mommy.

Abi enjoyed a number of exhibits, including the toddler water table where she caught plastic fish and turtles.  She also climbed up an entire flight of stairs all by herself.  (Mommy was right behind her, but did not help her in any way.)  Most of all, Abi enjoyed playing with a Coke bottle.

It’s a bit interesting that she enjoyed playing with the bottle near exhibits about waste and mass consumption.  One of the prints, for example, had over a million soda bottles representing the number of bottles or cans that are dumped into oceans within a certain time period.  Regardless, Abi was not too bothered by it, and certainly enjoyed her particular bottle.

Afterwards, she went out to dinner, where she enjoyed playing with sugar packets, taking htem out and putting them into a container.

All ready for summer

Abi has pretty dresses, balls, pails, shovels . . .and Mommy has even picked out a kiddie pool for her.  Abi is all ready for summer.

Daddy thinks Abi is devious

Abi likes pulling Daddy’s hair.  Daddy does not enjoy having his hair pulled.  How does Abi convince Daddy to come closer?  Daddy reports that she opens up her arms as if she wants to give him a hug . . . and then pulls his hair as soon as he comes closer.

Last night, Abi was whining after he put her down for a nap.  He walked into her room to give her Tylenol.  However, as soon as she saw him, she pretended to be asleep.

Daddy thinks Abi is devious.  Mommy thinks Daddy is imagining intent.
